Poly Ethylene: My education was science in university formal, art school informal, and then university of the streets in Greenwich Village. I was a professional artist for some years after which I earned my living in an art related field. During my painting years my work, was surrealistic, detailed and painted in classical techniques and out of fashion. Although it sold well it didn’t pay for the time and effort I put into it. This, and the fact that I didn’t like dealing with galleries and lacked the personality to flatter collectors slowly led to my earning a living elsewhere. Good fortune allowed me the leisure to write my opinions on art and my book on Amazon, “Modern Art a portrait of Mediocrity” I continue painting for pleasure and many of my works and art interests appear on Pinterest. I consider myself a Cynic, someone who sees things as they are rather than as they ought to be. My interests are, science, art history, modern history writing futurism, humanism, atheism. I specialize in philosophical garbage disposal.
